Associate Research Scientist (Digestive Diseases)

I am a medical graduate (MD) from Kurdistan, Iran, with research expertise in Gastroenterology and Epidemiology. Currently, I hold the position of Associate Research Scientist in the field of Gastroenterology at Yale School of Medicine. At Yale, my focus lies in exploring different treatment approaches to improve the survival rates of animal models affected by Gaucher disease. Additionally, I actively contribute to studies involving mice models that exhibit liver cancer and myeloma phenotypes.

In the realm of clinical projects, our team is dedicated to discovering biomarkers associated with fulminant alcohol-induced hepatitis.
