Researchers at Yale School of Medicine find new treatment pathways

In an important breakthrough, researchers at Yale School of Medicine, led by Dr Pramod Mistry, discover new pathways involving more than one cell type leading to Type 1 Gaucher disease.

These all-important breakthrough findings could lead to less expensive and more effective ways to treat the disorder, which affects about 1 in 50,000 people in the general population.
